Antenna Testing in DM95

On one of my many trips to Amarillo (DM95,) I brought along a set of antennas to test for mobile/portable use.  Amarillo is a flat, high plain area at 3,600 FT ASL.  This makes for a very “level playing field” to test antennas at the horizon.

While each of the antennas had a unique benefit, overall the Arrow played best on all the operational satellites.  The Elk was a closed second.  For grins I also played with just using a 19″ 2m whip that worked very well on VO-52.
